Following up on the protocol to ensure the health of all L Jolla users, the past week we had the water supply system tested for possible gray water contamination. Random condos were sampled and we are happy to share that all samples were negative for contamination. This means that we can continue to use the water regularly.

A total of 15 samples where sent for analysis (12 units – 2 per building, the 2 pools and the irrigation system).

The parameters evaluated are:

• Total Coliform

• Fecal Colimform

• Bacterial colonies

• Fungal colonies

• Clorine 

• PH

As you can see in the attachment, there is a marker from 0 to 20 in the bacterail colonies that seamed odd and the lab tech explained that for this parameter to be of consideration in this case would have to be more than 1,000  u/ml.

Another observation made by the Lab, is that if you have a filtration system it is safe to use as the UV filters work to ensure the safety of the water.

Regarding the other parameters, in all the results show that they are within the range accepted (safe) for human usage.

As for the treatment plant samples results, as it was previously announced, it is progressive testing and will have feedback until the sampling is conclueded and processed (at least 4 weeks).
